Containing Psoralen ,isopsoralen,etc.
Actions: Psoralen
has a stronger killing action against leukemia cells, the
IC50 was 4ug/ml. Photosensitization:the mice were divided
into two groups, the mice of experimental group were implanted
the leukemia cells which obtained from the spleen of L615
mice, the cells were incubated with psoralen at the dose of
20ug/ml for lhr, then radiated by ultraviolet ray for 10 minutes,
while the mice of control group were implanted the leukemia
cells without could survive for over 100 days, the life span
was prolonged for 189.62%. It's indicated that psoralen was
a photosensitizer and could be used to treat cancer.

Fructus Psoraleae 30g
Radix Astragali 30g
Fructus Jujubae 30g
Rhizoma Polygoni Cuspidati 30g
Radix Epimedii 15g
Placenta Hominis 15g
Fructus Corni 15g
Radix Angelicae Sinensis 15g
Radix Saluiae Miltiorrhizae 15g
Radix Notoginseng 9g
Fructus Ligustri Lucidi 60g
Caulis Spatholobi 60g
The above herbs were ground into powder
and made into tablets, each tablet contained 1.85g. The prescription
was used for treatment of 46 cancerous patients of leukopenia
after chemotherapy. The results showed that 26 cases among
them were remarkable efficacy, efficacy in 18 cases and inefficacy
in 2 cases, the total effective rate was 95.6%.
