Constituents:
Containing lemonic acid, succine acid, sitosterol, carbohydrate,
etc.
Actions: The decoction
of Fructus Mume was effective against S180 and EAC murine
tumors, the studies in vitro showed that the decoction of
the herb has inhibitiory action on JTC-26, with a rate over
90%.

The herbs were decocted for oral administration
one dosage daily. The prescription was used to treat 70 cases
of esophageal cancer with a total effective rate of 88.57%.

The prescription was used for treatment
of 50 cases of the carcinma of large intestine (among them,
41 cases of rectal carcinoma, 9 cases of sigmoid carcinoma),
about 3 months as a therpeutic period. The results showed
that the survival rate of l years was 80%(40 cases), the survival
time of 5 years was in 10 cases.
