Sources:The
dried body of Porcellio scaber Latreille Family Armadillidae.
Constituents:
Containing reducing sugur, glycogen, chondroitin sulfate A(CSA),
cholesterol and formic acid.
Indications:
It was used for treatment of cardiac and esophageal
cacinoma, hepatalgia of live cancer. For example, the Armadillidium
and Lapis Chloriti(same dose, ground into fine powder, 1~2g
eachtime and 4~6 times a day, the powder was sucked on root
of tongue, not be swallowed). It was used for treatment of
48 cases of obstrutive patient suffered from cardiac cancer
(19 cases), esophageal cancer (29 cases).Before administration
the cbstructive time was 2~12 days, after taking the drugs
37 cases were significant remission (from complete obstruction
became taking the semiliquid diet and maintained over two
weeks), 6 cases were partial remission (from complete obstruction
became taking the liquid diet and mantained over two weeks),
5 cases were ineffective.
