Containing phytolacosied A,B, D, E, F, phytolaccatoxin, phytolaccasterol,
polysaccharide, etc.
Actions:(1)Studies
in vivo showed that the phytolaccic acid was intraperi- toneally
injected at a dose of 300 mg/ml has an anticancer action against
Sarcoma-180 and Sarcoma-37 in mice with an inhibitory rate
of 41.4% and 35.2% respectively.
(2)The polysaccharide of the herb
could induce to produce high activity of IL-1,in abdominal
cavity macrophage of ICR mice during the polysacchari- de
was intraperitoneally injected to mice with the dose of 4mg/mouse.
In addition the polysaccharide also could induce to produce
IL-2, in spleen lymphocytes of BALB/C mice.
Indications:Qin
Du Hua Yu Pian (each pill containing 0.5g of the crude powder
of the herb) was used to treat 253 cases of hyperplasia of
mammary glands and found that 94 cases were CR (37.15%),72
cases PR (28.46%),improved in 74 cases (29.25%), ineffective
in 13 cases (5.14%). These results were better than the efficacy
of testosterone.
