Actions:Studies
in vitro verified that the hot water extract of herb had an
inhibitory action on JTC-26 cell line, with the inhibitory
rate of 50%~70%. Experiment in vivo proved that the water
decoction of herb at a dose of 25mg/kg a day, injected intraperitoneally
for 10 days had an inhibitory action against S37 and HepS,
with the inhibitory rate of 40%~50%. The saponin of paris
Polyphylla with dose of 350mg/kg a day for 10 days orally
administered or 10mg/kg injected intraperitoneally for 10
days had inhibitory effect on H22, the inhibitory rates was
42% and and 63% respectively.
Indications:
For stomach carcinoma, the herb was used to treat 15 cases
of advanced stomach carcinoma, 10~100 grams herb for 7~8 courses.
The results showed that ll cases survived for over l year,
4 cases survived for over 2 years, without any side effects.
