Constituents:
Containing saponins ginsenosides quercetin, b-sitosterol,
etc.
Actions: Experiments
in vitro the inhibiting rate of the hot water extract of Radix
notoginseng with 500ug/ml was above 90% against JTC-26 cell
line.The drug orally administered with 2.5mg/kg five weeks
later, 6/10 tumors of mice disappeared completely. Further
experiments showed that arusaponin has no stimulation for
proliferation of splenocyte, but could alter the content of
cAMP in splenocyte.

The pulvis of the above herbs was external
used to trearcerviarl cancer in 34 cases, 15 cases were complete
remission, 10 cases were remarkable effective, 3 cases were
effective and 6 cases were ineffective . The total effective
rata was 82.4%.

The pill of the above herbs was used
to treat mammary cancers in 134 cases, 3g each time and two
times a day. The survival rate after being treated for 5 years
was 88.8%.
