Sources:The whole plant of Orostachys fimbriatus (Turcz.) Berger Family Crassulaceae.

Constituents: Containing flavonoids, quercetin, kaempferol, oxalate,etc.

Actions:Isopropylidene redoheptuloride is effective against BEL7402 and MGC803 cell lines. The inhibiting rate of water and alcohol extrct of Orostachys fimbriainst on S180 was 36.4% and 25.4% respectively. The 50% alcohol and 75% alcohol extract of Orostachys fimbriatus obtained AC.AC had inhibiting action on S180, the inhibitory rate was 31%~37.9%.

Indications: For cervical carcinoma.

The suppository of extract of Orostachys fimbriatus (O2AS) and fluid extract of Orostachys fimbriatus used to treat cervical cancers in 38 cases. The results showed that complete remission was 2.7%, remarkbly effective was 23.7%, 28.9% was effectual, the total effective rate was 55.3%,44.7% was ineffective.

The suppository of AC and the fluid extract of Orostachys fimbriatus was used for treatment of 29 cervical cancer patients in hospital. The result showed that complete remission was 17.24%, 31.03% was remarkably effective, 13.79% was effective, the total effective rate was 62.07%, 37.9% was ineffective.
