Sources:The
secretions from the glands of Moschus moschiferus Linnaeus
Family Coruidae.
Constituents:
Containing muscon, muscopyridine, stearic acids, polypeptides,
etc.
Actions: The drug
implanted into the abdomen of a healthy sheep, had been found
to promote lympocytic hyperplasia, to improve microcirculation
and to dredge lymph duct. Therefore, the immunity against
cancer was increased and could eliminate the remaining cancer
cells.
Xihuang Pill, composed with Moschus,
Calculus Boris, Olibanum and Myrrha, markedly inhibited fusocellular
sarcoma in mice.In addition, the natural Moschus could kill
Hela cells and ascites cancer cells with a stronger effect.

of liver:
Moschus 5g
FranRincense 5g
Myrrha 5g
Calculus Bouis 5g
Fel Ursi 5g
Radix Ginseng 25g
Radix Notoginseng 25g
Tremella 25g
Semen Coicis 100g
The above herbs were ground into powder
and made of capsules, 2.5 grams each time t.i. d. 16 cases
of primary live cancer patients were treated, amony them,
4 cases survived for 1.5 years, 8 cases survived for 0.5year.
(2)Composite prescription for gastric
cancer:
3grams of Moschus with the dressing were
sterilized, then divided into 3 parts and each of the prepartion
was put into the intestinal mesentery or residual gastro-omenta
during surgery of the patients.The results showed that 74
cases wh survived, the other 68 cases were died.
