Sources:The
shell and meat of Meretrix mererix Linnaeus Family
Veneridae.
Constituents:
The shell containing CaCO3 and chitin, etc.
Actions: The decoction
of Meretrtix Meretrtix meretrix (Linnaeus) meat (20g/kg*7d,
ig)could inhibit the increasing in the rate of micronucleus
of mice bone-marrow induced by CTX or urethane.
Indications:
It was used for treatment of lung, stomach, thyroid
carcinoma.
(1)Co-prescription:
Puluis Concha Mactrae 250g
Coucha Ostreae 250g
Magnetitum 250g
Borax 150g
Cinnabaris 30g
Borneolum Syntheticum 45g
These herbs were ground into fine powder.
It was used for 7 cases of patients suffered from esophageal
carcinoma, the survival time was 3~9 years.
(2)Co-prescription contains powder of
Pulvis (Concha Mactrae, Echloniae, Sargassum, Thallus Laminariae,
Herba Taraxaci,Spica Prunellae ). It was used for treatment
of 12 cases of patients suffered from lung cancer, among them
one case was CR,3 cases were obvious improvement, 5 cases
were effective, the overall effective rate was 75%(in a hospital
of Wu Han).
