Constituents:
Containing 1,8-cineol, limonene, alkaloids, etc.
Actions: Tests
in vitro, the hot water extract of Xin Yi (Flos Magnoliae)has
a obvious inhibiting action on JTC-26 cell line, the inhibitory
rate was 50%~70%.

The above herbs were decocted for oral
administration one dose divided in to two portions twice a
day. It was combined with acupuncture for treatment of nasopharyngeal
carcinoma and has a obvious curative effect.

The above herbs were decocted for oral
administration one dose divided in to two portions twice a
day. The course of treatment is one month. According to the
patients condition, 1~3 courses can be taken. The prescription
mentioned above for the treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma
in 6 cases, the survival rate was 50%, in the period of 5
years, the prescription combined with radiotherapy in 18 cases,
the survival rate in 5 years was 55.56%. The prescription
combined with radiotherapy and chemotherapy in 29 cases, the
survival rate in 5 years was 65.52%.
