bulb of Lycoris radiata (L'Her.) L. Herb. Family Amarllidaceae.
Constituents:
Containing lycorine, galanthamine, lycorenine, tazettine,
lycoramine and pseudolycrine.etc.
Actions: Lycorine
has inhibitory effect against S180 , Yashida sarcoma and ascitic
hepatocarcinoma AH256, with a dose of 10mg/kg of the free
alkali or 20mg/kg of the hydrochlorate once daily, the inhibitory
rates were
56% to 76.35.
Indications:It
was used for treatment of cancer of digestive system and cervical
carcinoma. Lycorine betaine was taken to treat 522 cases of
advanced cancer patients with a dose of 100mg thrice daily,
one course of treatment was 14 days, for 4~10courses. The
clinical result showed that the total effective rate was 42.1%.
