Sources:The
rhizoma and roots of Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch. etc.
Family Leguminosae.
Constituents:
Containing glycyrrhizic acid, glycyrrhizin, acid, liquiritin,
isoliquiritin, etc.
Actions: Glycyrrhizin
and liquiritin had an inhibiting action on HepA, Yoshida's
Sarcoma in rat and Ehrlich's ascites carcinoma in mice. Glycyrrh-
izin had also a prophylactic action against hepatocarcinoma
which was induced by DENin rats. Glycyrrhizic acid and its
derivatives had an inhibi- ting effect on implanted Oberling
Guerin myeloma in rats, in additon, teats in vitro showed
that glycyrrhizin had an inhibiting rate of over 90% on cells
of JTC-26.

Herba Patriniae 15g
Radix Sophorae Tonkinensis 15g
Radix Arnebiae (Radix Lithospermi) 30g
Semen Phaseoli 30g
Colla Corii Asini 9g
The above herbs were decocted for oral
administration daily.
(2)For the cancer of stomach:

Cortex Magnoliae Officinalis 7.5g
