Sources:The
abnormal fruit or thorn of Gleditsia Sinensis Lam.
Family Leguminosae.
Constituents:
Containing saponin, gledinin, gleditsia saponin, tannin, b-sitoterol,
flavon-oids, phenols,etc.
Actions:Studies
in vitro indicated that the hot water extract of spina Gleditsiae
has an inhibitory action on JTC-26, with the inhibitory rate
of 50% to 70%. Experiments in vivo showed that the drug was
effective against Sarcoma-180 in mice.

The above herbs were decocted for oral
administration and the prescription was combined with chemotherapy
to treat 80 cases of lymphoma (6 cases of stage II , 2 cases
of stage III , 19 cases of stage IV ). The results showed
that the survival rate of 1 year 72%, the survival rate of
3 years was50%.
