Sources:The
fruit of Gardenia jasminoides Ellis .Famliy Rubiaceae.
Constituents:
Containing gardenoside, geniposide, shanzhiside, etc.
Actions: The hot
water extract of herb slightly inhibited sarcoma-180 of
ascites type on mice.In addition, anticancer screening tests
with bacteriop- hagic method indicated that this herb had
antitumor effect.

Radix Angelicae Sinensis 30g
Fructus Gardeniae 30g
Rhizoma Coptidis 30g
Cortex Phellodendri 30g
Radix Scutellariae 30g
Radix Gentianae 15g
Aliod 15g
Radix et Rhizoma Rhei 15g
Indigo Naturalis 15g
Radix Auckiandiae 5g
Moschus 1.5g
The above herbs were ground into powder
and rolled with honey into pills of 5 grams each, 3~4 pills
were taken daily.
The drug was adninistered to 26 cases
of chronic leukemia, 16 cases of wich was remission and 6
cases improved, the total effective rate was 84.6%.
