Sources:The
fruit of Forsythia suspensa (Thunb.) Vehl Family Oleaceae.
Constituents:
Containing fosythoside, hetulinic acid, oleanolic acid,ursolic
acid, phillyrin, a, b-pinene, b-cymene, etc.
Actions: The water
extract of Forsythia suspensa (Thunb.) Vehl at concentration
of 500ug/ml, cted for 134 hours has an inhibiting rate of
70%~90 % against JTC-26 cell line.
Indications:
For cervical carcinoma:
Herba Scutllariae Barbatae 100g
Fructus Crataegi 100g
Fructus Forsythiae 100g
Herba Ecliptae 100g
Herba Taraxaci 200g
Exocarpium Gossypii Herbacei 200g
Herba Orostachydis 300g
The tablets of the above herbs prescriptions
were orally administered, 4~6 tablets each time and 3~4 times
a day. The prescription combined with chemotherapy was used
for the treatment of 9 cases cervical carcinoma, 4 cases were
remarkble effective, 3 cases were effective. The total effective
rate was 77.8%.
