Sources:The
rhizome of Dryopteris crassirhizoma Nakai Family Dryopteridaceae.
Constituents:Containing
dryocrassin, filic acid, flaraspidic acid, diplopter- ol,
phloroglucinols ( PGC) , etc.
Actions:Its extract
at 80~100mg/kg was effective against U14, S180, B22 and EAC
tumor models. The PGC was the effective principle of the herb.
Its dose at 56mg/kg prolonged life span of ARS mice, the life
span prolongat- ing rate was 167.8%, among them part of the
ARS mice was no ascite gro- wing and in very long time survived.
Its dose with 60~70mg/kg ip. was effective against lewis,
breast and P388 murine tumors. Its dose at 130mg- /kg ig.,
the inhibiting rate on MA737 was 58.2%~65.5%. It damaged the
mitochondria of P388 cancer cells, so, the cell respiration
was inhibited.

Rhizoma Dryopteris Crassirhizomae 30g
Radix Sophorae TonRinesis 30g
Funiculus Umbilicalis 30g
Cortex Phellodendri 30g
Herba Hedyotis Diffusae 60g
The extract preparation was administered
orally once 3g, t.i.d for treatment of cervical cancers, certain
effect was obtained, among them one patient of cervical infiltrated
carcinoma after treatment for 5 months, the symptoms and foci
of the patient disappeared, follow up for 3 years, no relapse
was found.
