Sources:The seed of Descurainia sophia (L) Webb ex Prantl Family Cyuciferae.

Constituents: Containing volatile oil, benzylisothiocynate, allylisothiocyan- ate, stropanthidine and helveticoside, tec.

Actions: Experiments in vitro showed that the water extract of the herb at the dose of 5mg/ml could kill the HL-60 cells, in addition, the herb had an inhibiting action on JTC-26.

The herbs were taken with decoction daily and was used for the treatment fo 147 cases advanced primary pulmonary cancer which has gotten better efficacy.

The above herbs were taken with decoction daily for 3 weeks, except Gecko chinensis and Shi Zao Wan were swallowed 3g once.

The drug was used for the treatment of 11 cases of cancerous hydrothorax, the fluoroscopy of chest revealed that the hydrothorax eliminated in 3 cases and decreased in 2 cases.
