whole plant and flowers of Dendranthema Lauandulaefolium
(Fisch.) Ling et Shih var.seticuspe (Maxim.) Shih [Chrysanthemum
boreale Mak.] Family Compositae.
Constituents:
Containing volatile oils, chrysnthemin, chrysanthemaxanthin,
handelin, vitamin A,B,etc.
Actions: 500ug/ml
hot water extract of the herb has inhibitory action against
JTC-26cells in vitro for 134 hours, the inhibitory rate was
above 90%. The result of bacteriophage lytic test pointed
out that the herb has anticancer action. The herb has inhibitory
effect against human cervical carcinoma and EAC cells in vitro.

Decoction of the herbs and 10 pills of
Xiao Jin Wan were taken orally at the same time to treat 11
cases of breast cancer. The clinical result showed that cure,
remarkable effect, effectiveness, inefficacy were in 1, 2,
6 and 2 cases respectively. The total effective rate was 81.8%
and the survival times for more than 5 years, 6 years and
8 years wre each in 1 case respectively.

Decoction of the herbs was taken divided
into 2 times and the 15 tablets were taken, divided into 3
times, once daily to treat 11 cases of intracranial tumor.
The clinical result showed that part remission, remarkable
effect and inefficacy were in 1, 3 and 3 cases respectively.
The total effective rat was
72.7%.
