Sources:The
stem and leaf of Cudrania cochinchinensis (Lour.) Kudo
et Masam. Family Moraceae.
Constituents:
Containing flavoen, cudranone. morin, resveratrol, etc.
Actions: The total
flavone and the ethanol extract from the herb has an inhibiting
effect against S180 and U17 with the inhibitory rate of 30%~40%.
Indications:
For alimentary canal carcinoma 100ml of mixture contained
Radix Cudraniae 100g, Rhizoma Sparganii 50g and Herba Verbenae
50g. This mixture was used for treatment of 31 cases of advanced
digestive tract carcinoma with systemic metastasis, 3 times
a day and 30ml each time, but 100~150ml each time for esophageal
cancer. The mean therapeutic course was 49 days(14 to106 days)
and the results showed that 5 cases were remarkable efficacy,
19 cases effcicacy, 7 cases inefficiancy, the total effctive
rate was 77.42%.
