Actions:Cancer-inhibiting
experiments in vivo with mice proved that the extract of Fructus
Crotonis has a remarkable inhibitory action on solid and ascitic
Sarcoma-180, solid and ascitic cervical carcinoma-14, solid
type hepatoma and Ehrlich's ascites cancer. The inhibitory
rate was over 30%. In addition, crotonallin also has inhibiting
action against ascitic S180, U14 and hepatoma and Ehrlich's
carcinoma.
Indications:For
gastric carcinoma:
The preparation of Fructus Crotonis which
has been detoxified used for treatment of 115 cases of advanced
gastric carcinoma. The results showed that the remission rate
was 34%, stable rate was 43.5%, the total effective rate fo
77.5%, and the most of patients were to have the remarkable
analgesic action, sleep improved and appetite increased.
