Actions:The alkaloid
A at 150mg/kg¡Á10, with ip, its inhibiting rate
against S180 was 57.2%; at 100mg/kg, its inhibiting rate against
S37 was 63%~75%. In vitro, alkaloid A at 300 and 500ug/m1
concentration, inhibiting BEL7402 cell growth, the mitosis
index was decreased. At 500ug/m1 concentration, it inhibited
RNA symthesis of cancer cells and was effective against S180,EC
and human nasopharyngeal cell lines as well.
IndicationsIt
could be used for treatment of cervical, breast and rectum
cancers.
(1)The 30% alcoholic extract or 100%
water extract solution was giuen with im. and tablets administered
orally. 365 cases of digestive tract, lung and
cervical cancers were treated, the effective rates were 60.5%
and 61.7% respectively.
(2) 112 cases of skin cancer were treated
with alkaloid A for locai extenal use, the effective rate
was 72.3%, in 60 cases of cervical cancer patients, the efective
rate was 50%.
(3)Alkaloid A administered intravenously
to 25 cases of leukemias, the effective rate was 56%.
(4)45 cases of cancer patients (including
squamous cell carcinoma, mouth and lip squamous cell carcinoma,
testis carcinoma) were treated with the herb, the effective
rate was 75.6%.
