Constituents:
Containing calcium carbonate 90%, organic substances 0.34%,
and sulfates, silicates, Mg, Fe and proporphyrin compound
(PFC),etc.
Actions: PFC was
effective against S180, LIC and P388, the inhibiting rates
were 34.8%, 13.9% and 14.8% respectively.Tests in vitro showed
that PFC has inhibitory action on P388 cells with a dose of
50~100ug/ml.

The above decoction of these herbs was
adminstered to 15 cases of cerebral cancer:6 cases of the
neuroglioma, 1 case of the cerebral metastasis of breast cancer,
2 cases of the cerbral metastasis of lung carcinoma with surgical
treatment, 3 cases of the pituitary adenoma and 1 case of
the occipital osteoma. The clinical results showed that 5
cases of neurogiocytoma were effective, the symptoms of cranicerebral
hyoertensison were relieved, the survival term of 1 case reached
to 6 years. But it was ineffective in 3 cases of cerebral
metastasis.
