Constituents:Containting
16 species of amino acids such as lysine, arginine, glutamic
acid and 3-deoxyadenosie,cordycepic acid, cordycepin, etr.
Actions:Cordycepin
was effective against KB cell line. The water adstract of
the herb at different dilutions (1:200, 1:100, 1:50, 1:25),the
inhibiting rates against HFp-2 cell line increased with its
higher concentration. The water abstract was added with 5mg/ml
for 3 days, most of the HL-60 cells were killed.The powder
of the herb at 10,20,40mg/kg, it was effective against P388,hepatoma
tumors, the life span was prolonged for 48.5% and 32.6%,respectively.
The water abstract of the herb ip. 5g/kg¡Á10
against EAC cancer the inhibiting rate was 67%.In addition,it
was effective on the metastasis of LC tumor on mice.
Indications:
The preparation of human cultured Cordyceps sinensis could
be used for treatment of lung, nasopharyngeal, lymphocyte
cancers and leukemias. 50 cases of advanced lung cacer patients
were treated with the drug,the tumor growth control and enhancement
of immune function were observed. The dosage used orally 5
capsules t.i.d, one course of treatment was 30 days, and could
be used continuously for several courses.The patients administered
the drug continuously as follows: 5 cases for two courses,
23 cases for 3 courses,22 cases for 4 courses.The results
showed that 2 cases were CR, 6 cases PR, 15 cases MR, 9 cases
stable, the total effective rate was 64%.
