Actions: Studies
in vitro proved that the water extrct of Lignum Sappan at
the dose of 2.5ul/ml has a remarkable kill action on HL-60,
K562, L929 and Yac-1 cell lines. Experiments in vivo showed
that the decoction of the drug with a dose of 0.1~0.2ml/mouse
intraperitoneally injected to P388 and
L1210, the survival prolonging rate could be 93.9%~130.6%.

Rhizoma Curcumae 18g
Rhizoma Sparganii 18g
Hirudo 18g
Comcha Arcae 18g
Lignum Sappan 15g
Flos Carthami 15g
Rhizoma Corydalis 15g
Rhizoma Cyperi 15g
Radix AucRlandiae 15g
Caulis ARebiae 15g
Fructus Amomi 15g
Peicarpium Citri Reticulatae 15g
Rhizoma Pinelliae 15g
Cortex Magnoliae Officinalis 15g

The above herbs were ground into powder
for oral administration, 3 times a day, 3 grams each time,
3 to 6 months for a therapentic period. The prescription combined
with the injection of Rhizoma Zedoariae and Rhizoma Sparganii
was used for treatment of 18 cases primary cancer, the results
showed that 11 cases of which were effective,the results showed
that 11 cases of which were effective, the total effective
rate was 61.9%.
