Constituents:
Containing snake venoms, neurotoxins, amino acids phosphodiesterase,
arginase, antithromboplastin, etc.
Actions: Assessed
by fluorescent microscopy in vitro, the drug was found to
have an antagonistic action on leukemia cells.
Indications:
(1)For primary liver cancer: taking a
Bungarus multicinctus B. (weight about 400 1200 gram).A gauze
was inserted into the pharyngeal portion of the snake, then
to kill it and the fresh bile-cyst was swallowed by the patient.
The meat was boiled with quantum sufficit garlic for oral
administration. Take out the gauze and head, skin,tail and
viscera of snake, and to be baked on voen, then was divided
into 4 parts, one part was decocted for oral adminstration
every other day. The drug was used for treatment of 4 cases
of primary liver cancer. The results showed that 2 cases survived
for over 2 years and 1 case survived for over 6 years and
1 case even survived for 14 years, but the lesion was still
remained after examination.

carcinoma :

Myrrba 6g
Scorpio 9g
Nidus Vespae 9g
Cortex Phellodendri 9g
Cortex Moutan 12g
Radix Gentianae 15g
These herbs were powered and mixed with
a decoction of Flos Lonicerae to make boluses to be coatedwith
Realger. The drug was used to treat 34 cases of cervical carcinoma
, 2~3 times daily, 6~9g each time for oral administration.
The results showed that 22 cases were effective, the patients
survived over 3 years in which stage I cases reached 79%;
stage II cases 22.2% and stage III cases 29.4%.
