Sources:The
secretion fluid from post ears and skin gland of Bufo B.
gargarizans Cantor Family Bufonidae.
Constituents:Containing
bufotoxin, bufogeinins,buforenines,morphine,etc.
Actions: It was
effective against S180, U14, H22 murine tumors and BP rabbit
tumor. In addition, hellebrigenin -3-acetic acid has an inhibitory
rate of 75% on W256.
Indications:
(1)For pulmonary carcinoma: He Chan
Pian (composed with Bufo Siccus, Herba Agrimoniae, Radix Ginseng,
etc.)was used for oral administration, 3
times a day, five tablets each time. The drug was used to
treat 62 cases of pulmonary carcinoma, 6 cases of which were
remarkable effective, the effective rate was 62.9%.
(2)Ye Chan Bai Long Tang:

Radix Actinidiae Chinese 30g
Rhizoma Imperatae 30g
Radix Vitis Wilsonae 30g
Radix Myricae Rubrae 30g
Herba Solani Nigri 30g
Herba Hedyotis Diffusae 30g
Herba Duchesneae Indicae 30g
Herba Lobeliae Chinonses 30g
Herba Scutellariae Barbatae 30g
Herba Solani Nigri 30g
Rhizoma Cyperi 30g
Radix AucRlandiae 30g
Fructus Aurantii 30g

In this prescription, each of above herhs,
the dose was 30 grams excpt 15 pieces of cortex Bufo. Above
herbs were decocted with 500ml of wine and 3000ml of water,
boiling to 2000ml for oral administration, 50ml daily. The
prescription was used for treatment of advanced colicrectal
carcinoma in 4 cases. The results showed that 4 patients had
been survived for over l year and could take part in some
productive labour.
