Constituents:
Containing polysaccharides and protein.
Actions: The polysaccharide
was effective against S180 (ig.1000~1500mg) on NIH mouse,the
inhibiting rate was 30%~43%,and ip. 200mg/kg of the drug was
48.6%.The phagocytosis of macrophages was increased, the interferone
a,¦Ã could be induced for 4 times increasing,
and the activity of NK cells was increased as well.
Indications:
In clinic, the preparation of granules of the herb was used
for the treatment of 72 cases of liver cancer, each group
(test group and control group) wea 36 cases,in test group
, 5 cases were treated with the granules+radiotherapy. In
control group, 5 cases were treated with chinese medicines
and 31 cases were treated with chinese medicinese+radiotherapy.The
results showed that in treatment group among 25 cases PR was
3, MR+stable was 20 cases,the total effective rate was 92%23/25),
on control group, among 30 cases, PR was 1, MR+stable was
17 cases, the total effective rate was 60% (18/30),the difference
between the two groups was highly significant (P<0.01).The
symptoms remission rates of test and control group such as:
pain of liver area were 89% and 46%, abdominal turgid were
75% and 18%, ascites were 44% and 0%, the differences between
the two groups were highly significant (P<0.01).In addition,
the drug combined with radiotherapy, the effective rate was
92%, and no WBC decreasing was found.
The polysaccharide has been used for
treatment of primary liver cancer on 128 cases,the total effective
rate was 64.06%,the survival rate after one year was 33.67%.
