Aristolochiaceae.
Constituents:
Containing alkaloid, aristolochic acid, essential oils, etc.
Actions:In experiments
the mice were fed with the powder of the herb, in forage.
It has an obvious inhibitory action against Ehrlich's ascites
carciom- a,and also on the cells of ascites and the subcutaneous
Ehrlich's carcinom- a. In addition, the studies showed that
the herb was effective on Sarcoma-37 in mice.

Composite prescription for cancer of bone:
(1) Herba Aristolochiae Mollissimae 30g
Nidus Vespae 10g
(2) Herba Aristolochiae Mollissimae 30g
Rhizoma Drynariae 15g
(3) Herba Aristolochiae Mollissimae 30g
Fructus Psoraleae 30g
Eupolyphaga seu Steleophaga 30g
The above fomulas were decocted for oral
administration allerntly, one dose daily, continued for 15
days, then exchange the other formula. This prescription had
been treated bone cancer patients, the total effective rate
was 69.8%.
