Sources:The
root of Angelica sinensis (Oliv.) Diels Family umbelliferae.
Constituents:
Chontaining essential oils, chiefly including monotrpenoids
and sesquiterpenoids, such as butylidene Phthalide and ligustilide,
valerop- henone-o-carboxylic acide , b-sitosterol, ferulic
acid, succinic acid, etc.
Actions:AR-1 which
was seperated from Radix Angelicae Sinensis in west Germany
has an antineoplastie activity. It could effectively resist
the growing of S180, IMC, Meth-A and MM-16 murine tumors,
at same time it could make the survival period of 3/5 mice
exceed 60 days.

Aloe 15g
Cortex Phellodendri 30g
Radix Gentianae 30g
Fructus Gardeniae 30g
Radix Scutellariae 30g
Indigo Naturalis 15g
Radix et Rhizoma Rhei 15g
Radix AucRlandiae 9g
The above herbs could be made of pills
after grinding them into power, each pill was about 5g, orally
administered 3~4 pills a day. The chronic leukemia in 28 cases
were relieved, 6 cases showed improvement and 6 cases were
ineffective.The total effective rate was 78.6%. In relieved
16 cases, the shortest relieving time was one month, the longest
was above one year, the average time was 4.9 months.
