Sources:The
dried whole body (internal organs removed) of Agristrodon
halys (Pallas) Family Viperidae.
Constituents:
Containing agkistrodotoxin, enzymes, taurine, cholesterol,
organic acids, etc.
Actions: The injection
of agkistrodotoxin was effective against S37, S180, HepA,
ARS and EAC murine tumors. In addition, it was effective against
transplanted human hepatocarcinoma on nude mice, the inhibitory
rate was 63.7%.
Indications:For
cancer of stomach.
20 cases of gastric cancer were treated
by point-injection of agkistrodotoxin in the back, the total
effective rate was 75%. In addition, appetite improved and
the cancerous lesion shrunk.
