Sources:The
whole plant with root of Adina rubella Hance Family
Rubiaceae.
Constituents:
Containing triterpenoid, b-sitoterol, alkaloids, acidic compounds,
etc.
Actions: The hot
water extract of the herb has 54% inhibiting rate against
ascitic S180 tumor. The decoction of the herb has over 90%
inhibiting rate against JTC-26 cell line in vitro. In addition,
the decoction has inhibitory action against SAK and W256 murine
tumors.
Indications:
(1)It used for treatment of colonic,
esophageal, breast and lung cancers.

Rhizoma Fagopyri Esculenti 30g

The decoction of above herbs was taken,
divided into 2~3 times for oral administration daily combined
with chemotherapentic drugs by point-injection to treat 60
cases of lung cancer. The clinical results showed that effective
cases were 23, and ineffect were 37, the total effective rate
was 38.33%.

Radix Actinidiae Chinensis 90g
Radix Vitis Romanetii(Wilsonae) 60g
Herba Scutellariae Barbatae 60g
Rhizoma Imperatae 15g
Herba Pteridis Multifidae 15g
Herba Lobeliae Chinensis 15g
The decoction of the herbs was taken,
divided into 2 times for oral administration daily to treat
25 cases of gastric cancer, cases of CR, PR, MR were 2, 8,
11 respectively, total effective rate was 84%. During the
treatment, acidic, acrid, raw and cold foods, and fish, brown
sugar, taro and bean products were restrained.
