Sources:The
bark of roots of Acanthopanax gracilistylus Smith Family
Araliaceae.
Constituents:
Containing periplocin ,sesamin, polysathatides,isofraxdin,
etc.
Actions: Studies
in vitro proved that the water extract of Acanthopanax gracilislylus
Smith at the dose of 10ug/ml has a remarkable kill action
on HL-60 cell line. The alcohol extract of the drug at the
dose of 5g/kg has an inhibiting rate of 40.2%~68.0% against
EAC and S180 murine tumors. It also showed that the drug has
a remarkable prevention action on leukocy- topenia
Indications:For
carcinoma of stomach.

Chinensis
Radix Acanthopanacis Senticosi 30g
Herba Chelidonii 30g
Cortex Araliae Chinensis 30g
Semen Coicis 30g
Rhizoma Sparyanii 9g
Rhizoma Curcumae 9g
(2)The composite prescription:
Radix Actinidiae Chiensis 90g
Radix Acanthopanacis Senticosi 30g
Herba Chelidonii 30g
Cortex Araliae Chinensis 30g
Ramulus Juglandis 15g
The above herbs were taken with decoction,
one dose a day, this prescription combined with surgical operation
to treat 50 cases carcinoma of stomach , 6 cases were remarkable
effective, 20 cases were effective , 24 cases were ineffective.The
total effective rate was 52%.
